I got hit by reality...

Now it has hit me...really hard! I'm leaving Seoul after one week. I didn't realize when applying for exchange,  how much it would end up changing me. This place has become my home and now a have to leave it. I keep on thinking that it's only going to be one year apart with my Seoul, but in reality I have no clue if I'm able to return. I know how life and turn up side down just in a second...so everything can happen in one year.
Katta is leaving in three days and we have started to pack our stuff. It feels so empty here when I open the kitchen cupboard and there is only one mug and my giant clothing rack is gone. It's now becoming a reality!
I will miss my Seoul<3

Live life to the fullest!

Last weekend went like crazy! Probably because I had so much activities and fun.
Last friday we made a new record with Jenni. We went literally hardcore shopping! We left our dorm around 11am and came home around 3am^^ I did not even shop that much but Jenni bought a bit of everything. We went from Myeongdong to Yongsan and finally to Dongdaemun. In the end we kind of got stuck when subway was closed and no taxis going to our dirrection....and it was freaking cold!! and that's why I catched a cold, again...
On Saturday was time to go outside Soul with IFCC (international friendship and culture club). It was fun! We played games, ate BBQ and had party in our one huge room. They even took a disco ball with them! I stayed up pretty late, which made my flu even worse, together with the fact that half of the activities were outside.
Anyways...Couple of hours of sleep on Sunday and it was time to go to a concert^^ I thought I would have the worst seat ever, but turned out that it was quite nice. I really enjoyed the concert, but at the same time I felt sad to know that this might be the last K-pop concert for a while...
Also I got a bit teary when IFCC had done a video clip of all of our events and were saying goodbye. At that point a really realized that I'm leaving soon, without knowing when I'm returning...

I just hope I can enjoy the last days to the fullest!

Do it yourself!!!

I hope that this morning's bad luck stopped now. I just want to have nice day and the morning already went like...I woke up feeling really tired and a bit sick. I decided to sleep longer and go to the lecture later or just skip it. Then when I finally feel like I could get up and go to school. I'm wearing my jacket and go to the internet bank to transfer some mmoney cause I didn't have ANY cash...it doesn't work.

"ID and password doesn't mach" WHAT!?!? I tried like million times but nothing.. Then I realize that my passwords have expired. My lovely family was supposed to check the date of expire but apparently they don't care if I get into trouble or not... Thank you guys! And this wasn't the first time. Last semester I was without insurance because my parents had forgot to extend my travel insurance...
So if you want things to roll smoothly, do it yourself!

We'll see what happens next. I don't have very good feeling about today!

I felt like 6 years old again!

Last Saturday I went to Lotte World amusement park with Jenni and Sunny. It was super fun! We left home around 10.30 in the morning and came back around 11pm...Long day, but it was worth it!
I felt like a little kid again! We tryed all the amusements that we were able to in that time. My favourite was outside rollercoaster which went as fast as 70km/h... We also had fun in some less exciting amusements, like 4D and vicking boat.

The place had also inside skatehall, which we didn't have time to try. Me and Sunny decided to go there again some day to just skate. I hope I won't be buried under all the school work, cause I still have so much to do before returning to Finland.

I could almost live there!!!

Last friday we went and spend relaxing evening in the Dragon Hill Spa. The place is full of saunas and pools as well as different kinf of activities. It was nice to just relax and enjoy the warm saunas in the cold autumn/winter weather.

Now I'm feeling a bit sick...again...so I just hope I had time to go there again T__T But no! I have to do some studying today...

Brrrrr it's getting cold!

Uuuurrrggghhh! It's getting cold in Seoul too! I have been watching  finnish news and they are breaking some temperature records there, right? It's not that cold here but I can already feel the -1 temperature in my bones.
I'm not that sick anymore! But my roomate is having a flu now. And Katta is never sick!!! Never ever! We were talking about this couple of days ago. She said that I'm sick or getting sick all the time. Which is kind of right...I get sick easily, but I try to prevent it everytime when I feel some symptoms. Like last semester I was sick all the time. Now I have got sick only twice because I started to take medicine and drink tee in time to prevent it. Now she is sick and I'm feeling a lot better...
So that's why I decided to take care of her. This morning I made healing breakfast; vitamine drink, tee, egg and toast. I hope she is feeling a bit better now!

This weekend I'm planning to finish a lot of my assignments and presentations so I don't have to take care of them when the finals are getting closer. And finally, I'm gonna send a 20kg package home! Well, that's not enough of course...I think I need to send maybe two or three more ㅋㅋㅋ
Tomorrow we are planning to go to lotte world. It is a amusement park complex with both in and outdoor activities. Maybe we'll go to sauna/spa today when it is so cold weather and would be good for our health too...
Now back to school work^^

I wanna shout my lungs out, but my throat is swollen up...

It's not my week!
I just found out that I have a quiz in 2 hours! My teacher sucks!!! Then I have to re-do my school work cause dummer didn't inform that we have the same subject! Tomorrow is a presentation...which i'm doing about subject that I did last semester, so I'm lazy and taking the same powerpoints that I presented earlier (credits to Sulle<3) Then I have to find some info about euro crisis and do another presentation. Have a stupid group meeting...tomorrow have another group meeting...and I think the dumass teacher will do another quiz on thursday... And the best of all is that I'm SICK!!! too tired to handle all this TT_TT
Maybe I go to the hospital and get a note and skip all the classes and drown my bad mood into chocolate^^

I forgot to take my desperate housewives for the north koreans...

Ooops! I haven't posted anything for a while.... I don't know why... maybe I have been busy...or just lazy.
Anyways. I went to DMZ(demilitarized zone) on Friday. DMZ is the area around 4km between north and south korea. It has fun to go there! Especially to tease my friends what they can or cannot do there or otherwise they get shot by north koreans.
We had to wake up 5am bacause we had to be in the USO base around 7 and the subway took almost an hour. Then it was 1 hour in a bus to the DMZ area. When we got there we had to change to another bus which was authorized to go to the area. We had to sign declaration forms and had a short video about the history of DMZ.
Then we went to the joint security area called Panmunjeom. This is the place where all negotiations are held. We got into the blue house and I got to see the tables that the negotiations are done. We heard that the north korea also does these tourist trips to the blue house and rarely you can see the north koreans in the same room as you. I saw only one north korean. He was a guard standing in front of north korean building.
We also went to some check points and saw the no return-bridge. The quides and solders were telling all this stories. For example one women solder had stepped on a mine few weeks before. Also how the north korean solders act, whiping their shoes to american flag and stepping on the negotiation tables...
Next stop was the third tunnel. There is four incursion tunnels found by south korea, but there is propably more that haven't been found yet. We went to the third one 1 600m long. After the tunnel we went to museum and watched another video. Took bus again to another observatorio. From there we could have seen alot using the binoculars, but the weather was too foggy. Final stop was lunch and the northest train/subway stop of south korea. I think there was information that a line from there would  be built to transfer materials etc. to north korea.
